INTRODUCTION :

Natural products empirically have been used as great sources for new medicines around the world. Nowadays, active compounds originating from natural products has grown steadily and represent active ingredients in many products for health and beauty purposes. The Second of International Seminar and Expo on Jamu 2017 (2nd ISEJ) is a continuation of the first ISEJ which was held in 2010. This seminar gives the latest findings related to development of indigenous medicines to clinical application, poster discussion about current research and establish new collaborations. ISEJ is a forum for students, researchers, educators, observers, herbal medical doctors, and other practicioners from university, research institutions, industry and general public to exchange ideas and latest information in the field of herbal medicines.
